I spent my weekend at Bkk last week. Well....actually nothing much to do there..except to eat and sleep.
Suprisingly, I could sleep pretty well there...maybe the hotel room is much more quiet and comfortable as compared to my hse....where I can hear the vechicles sound even thou I have alraedy close the window and door tightly...
This is really irritating...because even when I am dead tired, I can't sleep well with all the noise pollution...
You know when I sleep well, I feel extremely alert...When I don't I feel extremely moody and I will have pain and aches everywhere.
Day 1
The first day we arrive at Bkk, we did some shopping...and it was a sumptuous meal at Chinatown.
Too bad I am not a big eater...else I would have order lots more dish...as the food just looks yummy....and most of all it's cheap
Steam seabass = SGD9
Sharkfin soup = SGD13
BBQ Big Prawn = SGD7
Well didn't get a chance to taste the good tom yam soup there coz I was too full to take in any more stuff....
After dinner and a short walk for digestion, we settled down at Nam Sing for Bird Nest...
Bird Nest is suppose to be cheap in BKK....but I don't think so le...
a small bowl cost SGD$15...and it doesn't taste nice...It seems to me like those fake bird nest.....

Day2
Went to Jatuchuk in the morning as it was a sunday and the strange thing is Jatuchuk is only open on weekend. Actualyl I dont quite like going there....because it is hot and stuffy....But co KT since he wanted to go .....in the end, I bought stuff instead of him....and he appear bored throughout the stay at Jatuchuk....We only stayed about 2 hrs there and went back to the hotel.

Next we went to Emporium...suppose to go sukumvit for a massage....But guess is an unlucky day...coz the massage was fully booked and it rained suddenly....
and I did not bring my umbrella with me...
As we have nothing much to do, decided to catch a show call "PATHFINDER" for about SGD$6.50.haha...the big cinema only got about 30 people
well suppose to have a nice Japanese dinner after movie...BUT....sigh...I guess I made the wrong order....
I had the worse curry udon I ever tasted.....It just sucks....

Day3
Went for a massage at "Health Land Spa" near Silom...It was recommended by KT's friend. Well apparently a lot of locals went there for massage so the prices there are local price...
only 450bhat for a 2 hr thai massage.....It was really shiok..I feel so much better after a few days of muscle ache...
Guess what...after the massage, we proceed on to the newly open Central shopping centre.....
hmm..kind of disappointed as I would be expecting more out of it....especially the food court..the food just sucks...for its price....coz is not cheap for a food court price...
Well but I will strongly recommend MBK foodcourt. The food is really nice and looks more hygienic as compared to street food.
After buying out local food and tibits from MBK to bring bk to SG, we went back to the hotel at about 6pm..Isn't that early for a last day in BKK?

Took some photos of the hotel....The hotel is call Siam@Siam. It is a boutique hotel, quite new as it was opened only in dec06.

Well, I quite like the hotel except that floor is not carpetd and the toilet bath tub is too high for a older person....even for me, I find a bit tough to go in and out of the bath tub...

i go chinatown backlane.but all must buy in bulk coz wholesale so nvr buy any thing except eat. I cant eat much so nvr go to MK steam boat lor.Very nice?

MK steamboat quite nice. The locals like to eat.
RCA is like MOS concept. They have live band and a open air space to drink as well. So suitable for you and KT hehe
