As my birthday falls on a Monday on 21-Dec, we decided to have a early dinner celebration on 20-Dec-2009.
Reservation of table and birthday cake was made one week in advance at Equinox Swissotel due to the festive season.
We arrived at 715pm.....it was quite unexpected that the dinner actually took 3 hrs and only ended around 1015pm. Everything was good until when I ask them about my birthday cake and the waitress told me that the reservation of cake was not in the system...gosh...I was like..."How come".
They did some investigations later and know they have make an error on their part and they offered to send the cake to my house tomorrow...hmm...I guess it makes a difference when you pay more for fine dining and services. Anyway the dinner doesn't come cheap it was $150 per pax for a 5 course set. The serving is really very small but enough for me. The food is really quite nicely cooked.

On the actual day 21Dec, we waited for the birthday cake to be delivered from Prego to our house.Finally at 845pm the cake arrives. I & KT had a mini cake cutting at home. I had a big suprise today. Other than the bouquet of 3roses he gave me on 20-Dec, he arranged for another big bouquet for me on 21Dec and a cute little bear.
..hehe..thks darling.. this is indeed a suprise.
