I discovered something shocking...and sad this morning.....I was looking in the mirror,combing my hair...and I found another "WHITE HAIR"......It's it sad......sigh...
Last Year mark the birth of my 2 white hair....and lesser than a year, another white hair was born.....I am so sad.....guess...age is really catching up on me.....*Sob*
Well...but the main topic of my blog today...is not about white hair....haha.... is about "DIVORCE"
Heard from a friend yesterday that he is getting a divorce....after I think....about five years of marriage...well..he married at a very young age of abt 22-23 years.....Now he is filing a divorce....I didn't dare to ask too much.....coz we are not very close.....but I was just wondering....it should be him who initated it as I saw him with his new girlfriend..last weekend....well of course I could be wrong..and the woman could be at fault...
Sometimes I really wonder...why are there so many divorce case nowadays...it has become so common..that people no longer take marriage vows seriously......so what is the point of making marriage vows...and all the martimony stuff......it's like just a show....for people to see.....
In fact...this year alone...I have 3 friends filing for divorce....most of which are cause by the man...who have a change of heart......Have our society....really become so open minded, no traditional values? Lesser and lesser people believes..in true love, commitment, and staying faithful to the person whom they have commit they vows to?
Some people get married on the impulse? Getting ROM....upon knowing each other for less than or 6 months? Isn't that a bit too rush to make the decision? Is it some hot crush at the beginning of a relationship....and things....start to change or cool down after 6 months?..Why doesn't people try to get to know each other a bit more, communicate more...before deciding..if this person is the right person to spend the rest of your life with? Why does....so many guys..choose their girlfriend or future to be wife....base on first impression on how the girl looks(physical appearance)? Why are human so superficial?
Haha..How I wish..the traditional punishment(jin zhu long) still holds....for people who commit adultery...and should not be let off lightly as well...because they are going to hurt the opposite party deeply....which may cast a shadow on the party that is hurt. ..I very bad right..
I was talking to a colleague today and he was asking me..should he tell his best friend's boyfriend...that his girlfriend...is flirlting..and having flirting sms with other guys....coz is actually not his business.... Well..I guess...is not really his business....let them settle themself..
Man and woman...irregardless...if they are married, not married, attached or not attached....they will tend to flirt with other people.....like addressing people as "Darling, Dear, Honey"
Is that suppose to be morally right or not right....nobody can really....judge...but life get boring..between couples...and they start flirting....with other people...to make thier life more interesting....anyway is just SMS/IM....didn't really do anyting wrong....Is that the mentality of what people have? ..Well...is really something worth to give a thought on.....
Ask yourself....are you also doing all these right now? Is it worth it to do all this..and getting intothe wrath of the person..which you heart?

Very thoughtful topic and well-stated. I also want to share with you one of my friend's story. He is going to fill a divorce. Sadly to say it was his wife who initiated it. She in fact was having an affair. He loved his wife very much therefore he had very hard time for more than 6 months. They married few years ago, however, the thing doesn't go as it should be. I felt very sorry for him but couldn't help much. I can just wish that he will be able to forget his wife and find a new girl friend soon.
P.S. Only 1 or 2 "white hair" out of million so need not worry leh. Be happy ya!
I believe culture makes a difference as well. Over here, the boys at the coffee place call me darling, my dear, sweetheart.. and it meant nothing at all. I guess ultimately, what really matters is your inner motive of saying that. For me, I call my best friend of 10 years.. handsome, dear etc. and he calls me gorgeous etc.. and we are absolutely platonic! So, there you go! :) Flo has no problem of that either.
On the topic of divorce, yup, isn't it amazing? I worry about that too.. with the statistics in Australia (50%!).. makes me wonder if I should really get married. :S
